(Denver, CO)
Hi friends and strangers, I guess i blog on Tuesdays now. I woke up Monday morning with like a million things to do for work but had a very fun weekend out in the sunshine. Finally got a lamp for my room and a bookshelf. Found a great new yoga studio and signed up for an art class. So excited for the next couple of months to get into the groove here and keep making new friends.
The vibe:

Park day, rooftop, and polo
Doing:
The whole time I was in New York i was collecting business cards, birthday cards, menus, polaroids and i KEPT saying i will do something with this, i will do something with this and i finally did. I love collaging when I feel like i’m in an ~~artistic rut, it gets the juices flowing to make weird, silly stuff. I wouldn’t say this is an actual collage hahah just a collection of little memories but i just laid everything out and taped it down into a huge frame. Will be hanging this over my (brand new super amazing standing) desk :)

Wearing:
AH! The polo match. I made a 30 before 30 bucket list about a year ago and this was one of the random things on it. I have always wanted to go to one and it was so much fun. I think we will be purchasing season tickets for next year lol. Got to pull out the headbands and bows and sundresses. Everyone looked so chic and classy.

Watching:
No update here, still rewatching grey’s every time i open netflix.
Eating:
Been cooking a lot with rosemary this week, getting into the fall vibes. Made a Rosemary lemon butter pasta (i used sauv blanc and let the butter brown a little bit before i added in the lemon slices.) I didn’t have spaghetti but i did have those little orange pumpkin pastas from trader joes. I think spaghetti definitely would have held the sauce better but it was still chefs kiss delicious.
SMORES! We have a little fire pit outside our house and had a smores night with our lovely neighbors. I haven’t smores in so long and usually i dont love them but they really hit this time. Someone was talking about using reeses instead of chocolate (reese’s is probably my fav candy so will 100% be trying this soon).

Reading:
Got my library card the first week i moved here and the first book on my list was The Maid (not the TV show one, a different one but if you haven’t watched the show Maid you should.) I was talking to my friend in a bookstore in D.C. and the sweetest girl was like “omg if you liked that book you have to read The Maid.” She said there’s a major plot twist at the end so I will keep you all updated.
Listening:
NFL season is upon us. These are some mildly off brand recommendations. I only really watch football so I can keep track of my fantasy team and have an excuse to either lay on the couch all day or go out to the bars. But last year I became obsessed with the Kelce brothers (yes 12 months PRE taylor swift) and was listening to their podcast, New Heights -- they are just actually so funny and their families are so cute (i LOVE the mom and Kylie) and i will be watching the documentary. I also recently discovered Sports Girly, this is “for the girlies that kinda care.” These are tiny short episodes and she fills you in on the drama of the week.
Have a great week everyone <3 love u chickens

as long as u dont become a,,, horse girlie, otherwise impeccable colorado vibes
Looks like you’re settling in in Denver!…yeah! And I love listening to New Heights… waiting for Ryan’s schedule to clear so we can watch the doc:)
Just added The Maid to my queue for my next audiobook. I also love listening to The Heights - so entertaining! Am def going to check out Sports Girly. Also, the pic of you with the horse is soooo cute 😍
I'll have to take your word on the lemon pasta but will check out Maid 😘
