(NY, NY + Denver, CO)
Ugh!! I’m in the worst blogger in the world. I hope you all had a very happy, spooky halloween. I feel like this time of year always goes by so fast and is very busy. I was in NYC for a week and then came back very sick (with a lost voice). I’m all better now and just had a very chill weekend. I’m trying to remember everything I’ve done in the last few weeks but it feels like a blur, thank god for my camera roll.
We had our first snow here in Denver (while I was gone and I came back and had to scrape snow off my car for the first time in my life) but now, it’s back to 75 degrees. The weather here is seriously so weird.
The vibe:

Sicko mode, halloween spooks, and nyc <3
Doing:
I feel like I always come on here and write about how it’s so nice to visit my friends but obviously so lovely to see all my people in NY. We had a great time eating and drinking, i got to see one of my friend’s DJ set and we went to a drag Halloween costume contest.
My art class has been going well, I’ll share some doodles with you next week, it’s mostly me and old retired people hahah. I haven’t been to my horse lessons recently bc i was gone and sick and the 8am on Saturday is not the best for me. I think I’ll probably find a different stable in the spring.
Wearing:
Mega shoutouts to my sweet wonderful friend Caralee who is a style icon. I wish I could dress more like her, she is literally so cool, follow her on tiktok. So refreshing to be back in the city, no one does outfits like NYC. Also some halloween pics. Usually I’m not that into Halloween but this year kind of got me into it and I promise next year I will really plan out and slay my costume.

Watching:
I watched this movie Downsizing the other day. Basically the world is ending and to save the environment they start shrinking humans down to be 5 inches tall. Made me think of one of my favorite books when I was kid, The Borrowers (which i literally just found out they made into a movie so will be watching that tonight.) And also reminded me of the show Upload which is another one of my favs, dystopian vibes I guess but its like virtual humans where they basically upload your entire consciousness after you die and you live in this alternate virtual world.
Eating:
Honestly, haven’t been cooking much since I was traveling and then was sick and basically living off of soup. I did try to make one of my sister’s specialties and it was pretty good but not as good so hopefully when she comes this weekend (YAY) she will cook for me <3. Obviously ate so much goodness in New York (here is everywhere I ate). I went to a friendsgiving last weekend and i AM SO EXCITED for thanksgiving. It's literally my favorite day of the entire year and maybe I will grace you all with my perfect mac and cheese recipe.
Reading:
I finally started reading Rick Rubin’s book (thanks dad <3), “The Creative Act: A Way of Being.” The ‘chapters’ if you can even call them that are so short so I’m trying to do at least one day. When I finish, I’ll pull some of my favorites in here but it’s just a nice reminder to approach everything in life with a creative mind and that it really is a way of life.

Listening:
I feel like im soo late to the game with this one but I have just discovered Jay Shetty. Obsessed, just an all around stand up dude and he has some great episodes with celebrities (Charli D’Amelio, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kendall Jenner, Tom Holland) it’s great to see these people sit down and give like an honest interview. Everything Jay Shetty talks about is just so real and positive and uplifting. Highly recommend.
This post is all over the place so sorry but love to all u little chickens. Xox

Love love love!!
See you on Thanksgiving with my pretty drink in hand 😘
