Hi! Everyone. Been hibernating a little, this was my last free weekend until literally may. Lots of visitors coming and lots of trips (literally booked 4 flights in a day). Had a great spring equinox week, very good things happening for me and everyone around. Spring has SPRUNG yay <3
The vibe:
Ski lift, tulips, and more brunch.
Doing:
Spent the weekend in breckenridge – sooo fun!! The town is so cute and we went up one day to the resort while the rest of our group was skiing, and like polina said “canon event for a new colorado resident” but im going to try to learn how to ski next year (even though snowboarding looks so much cooler, im traumatized by my last attempt). I love the apres vibes and it was so pretty to be up in the mountains after it snowed.
Wearing:
Mom – you were actually wrong about the white snow boots which u usually never are. I wore this all weekend in the mountains and they are still perfectly clean. No slipping and sliding for me plus theyre cute and I actually like wearing them. Def recommend for everyone next year. (on sale rn)
Watching:
I can’t believe i’ve never watched it before but this is us is actually going up there as top 10 shows ive ever seen. It’s so sweet and uplifting but also so drama and there is not a single character you don’t like. Seriously can NOT recommend this enough, it’s so well done and the acting is amazing. I’ve kinda already cried a few times and I never cry.
Eating:
Testing out a new section on here for how to’s. It’s going to be all different kinds of things not just food but first one up i had to do a recipe – i made this asparagus goat cheese quiche that i have honestly been thinking about since i made it. It was good, if I do say so myself. please go read it and tell if that format would ever even help you make something.
Reading:
Still reading all the Light we cannot see. Since I’ve been binging this is us i haven’t been reading as much recently but i cant wait to be on the beach next week and just knock out a bunch of books on my list.
Listening:
Dr. Dre. I can not stop listening to dr. dre. I think the weather is just so nice and good again and it puts me in a good mood and i just like that bouncy bouncy vibe.

Oh gurl - This Is Us is one of my favorite shows. Keep the tissues handy because it will have you crying all the time. I watched every season as it came out and it is in my top ten of all time favorite shows! 100% agree on the acting and the characters - the casting for that show is perfection, especially through all the ages of the characters - sometimes I would forget that it's not the same person. And Mandy Moore through all the phases of life is amazing.
I wasn't wrong about white pants so don't know why I worried about white boots -- maybe soccer shoes throwback ?? Happy to be wrong and happy you're happy with your boots 😘
